On 14/02/1980, a mixed-liveried Class 101 DMU is seen approaching Seaton Carew, south of Hartlepool, with a service for Darlington. In the background is the Newburn Bridge, which remains a useful vantage point for photography, but the sidings and most / all of the buildings visible here in 1980 have gone.
